Doorbell Hub - Know the basics
When the doorbell rings, its instinctive to simply go to the door and open it. But what if its late? What if you're about to jump in the shower? With the Doro Hemma Doorbell, you can talk to and see whoever is outside your door thanks to the instant video call on your phone. Or you can carry on as you are!
When someone presses the doorbell button outside your home, your Doro Hemma Chime will activate and play a ding-dong sound within your home. At the same time, your smartphone or tablet will initiate an instant video that will appear on your screen.
The instant video call is muted initially, meaning that you can see and hear the person on the outside, while they cannot hear you.
You can carry on watching, or you can engage with the person outside by tapping the 'answer' button.
Once answered, you can talk to the person through the doorbell from wherever you are (depending on your network coverage).
If you decide you don’t want to interact with the person outside, simply tap the 'Reject' button and the instant video will be closed, the person outside will not be aware that you have reject the call. They will simply think you are not home.
